Kids skin is different from babies and adults. Compared to babies, kids produce more sebum and sweat. As they go outside and play in their activities, they are exposed to more dirt, grime, and pollutants. But compared to tween and teen skin, kids' skin produces less sebum and oil, it has a harder time to retain water, and it has a weaker skin barrier (which means it has a weaker skin immune function). Our products are made by experts to be formulated just for kids' age 4 to puberty.

Compared to products made just for babies, kid's body wash is formulated to have a bit of cleansing power (because kids sweat and are exposed to dirt as they start exploring and playing outdoors). The easiest way to think about it is this: if you didn't rinse off baby body wash, it's okay because it's that gentle. But kids in elementary school age actually need some cleansing power in their products - but nothing too harsh for their delicate skin.

We do not recommend using the Dojo Whippity Cloud Soap as a 2-in-1 shampoo. We also do not recommend using adult haircare products for kids, as the skin of kid's scalps are more sensitive and fragile.

We recommend one bottle per kid per month, and keeping at least one spare bottle on hand for special occasions or gifting baskets.
